The Most Amazing Demo Ever

On December 9, 1968 Douglas C. Englebart and the group of researchers working with him at Stanford Research Institute presented a live 90-minute demo that included the public debut of the computer mouse, hypertext, object addressing and dynamic file linking, and shared-screen collaboration involving two people at different sites communicating over a network with and audio and video interface. Stanford has made streaming video clips of that famous demo available online.
